If you are the recommended universalist destiny, you will have a boost of 2 to the max ability of 5. Go to abilities and map Mark of Flame to the UI. Loot the ruined effigy for the Abyss Robes.įast travel to Madding Wind follow the road southeast until you see the Ruined Effigy on the local map. It's a decent set but I prefer the Hope of the Fatesworn set.Ĭontinue to the ruined effigy and fight the Faer Gorta.
The headhunters quest also provides you with an armor set. She is one of the leaders required for the Headhunters quest. This triggers the Lesson of the Bones side quest. We will wait until we have the entire set before equipping it.
Ignore the warning cautioning you to flee. You will be attacked by a bunch of Faer Gorta. Near the Altar of Belen is a coffin depicted by a chest on the local map. You'll see a lorestone and an Altar of Belen. Don't go in but follow the path that leads southeast down from its door. The Abyss armor set can only be acquired at night.įind The King's Thimble on the local map. Go upstairs, find a bed, and sleep till 8:00 PM. If it is daytime, go to the nearby Lightwatch Inn. Press and check the time underneath the mana bar. Nevertheless, our preference is to trigger the quest from the quest giver, Warden Rask. Note that you may have already triggered the side quest if you came across one of these bandit leaders earlier in your explorations. You must defeat five bandit leaders and collect a token from each one.

Once we unlock these three achievements, you are free to visit a fateweaver and rebuild your character to conform to your preferred play style. There are three side quests related to collecting armor sets and invoking a special effect pertaining to each set. Loot is of little consequence so you can focus on completing the side quests without being distracted by secondary considerations. The Hope of the Fatesworn armor set provides you with robust protection. If you have followed the walkthrough, cleared all chaos portals, and crafted level XXV chaos weapons, and defeated Telogrus you will outclass all remaining enemies by an order of magnitude even playing on very hard difficulty.
